What is Stem Cell Supported Hair Transplantation?
Stem cell-assisted hair transplantation is a high-tech treatment method developed for individuals suffering from hair loss. This procedure is a hair transplant technique that uses stem cells to support healthier and stronger growth of hair follicles.
How to Apply?
- Consulting and Planning: First, your hair transplantation plan is created as a result of a comprehensive evaluation by our hair transplantation experts.
- Stem Cell Collection: Fat tissue taken from different parts of the body (usually from the abdomen or inner leg area) is separated into stem cells through a special process.
- Hair Transplantation: While the classical hair transplantation procedure is performed, the separated stem cells are injected into the transplantation area. In this way, the newly transplanted hair is ensured to grow faster and healthier.
- Follow-up and Maintenance: In the post-procedure period, regular checks are performed to support the healthy growth of hair follicles and necessary care recommendations are offered.
Why Should Stem Cell Supported Hair Transplantation Be Preferred?
- Faster Recovery: Stem cells enable rapid healing and regeneration of tissues.
- High Success Rate: Stem cells support hair follicles to become stronger and permanent.
- Natural Appearance: After transplantation, a natural and dense hair appearance is achieved.
- Long Term Results: The healing effect of stem cells ensures that the transplanted hair remains long-term and healthy.

What are the Stages of Stem Cell Supported Hair Transplantation?
1) Determining the Hairline
The hairline is determined individually in order to provide a natural appearance in the forehead area.
2) Shaved
This is the part where the hair of the person to be transplanted is completely shaved after the hairline is determined.
3) Creating Stem Cells
To create Stem Cells, fat is taken from the belly and inner thigh area. The fat taken is processed with a machine. Stem cells are obtained from the processed fat. The stem cells obtained are injected into the patient's area to be transplanted before hair transplantation.
4) Local Anesthesia
The hairline is determined individually in order to provide a natural appearance in the forehead area.
4) Collecting Hair Roots
It is the process of collecting hair follicles in the donor area under local anesthesia with the help of a micro motor.
5) Opening a channel to the area to be transplanted
It is the creation of openings on the scalp large enough to allow hair follicles to enter the area to be transplanted, with the help of surgical silt.
6) Transplantation Process
It is the process of placing sterile hair follicles into the opened channels after everything is ready, with the help of surgical forceps.
Stem Cell Supported Hair Transplantation Recovery Process
- First Day After Operation: After the hair transplantation procedure is completed, slight swelling and redness may be observed in the transplanted area. This is part of the body's natural healing process. Your doctor will give you information about the things you should pay attention to and the medications you should use during this period.
- Maintenance and Cleaning: It is important not to let water touch the transplanted area in the first days and to keep the area clean. You can use a special lotion or shampoo according to your doctor's instructions.
- Rest: For the first three days, heavy physical activities should be avoided and you should sleep with your head supported by a high pillow.
- Crusting and Healing: At the end of the first week, crusting may occur in the transplanted area. These crusts usually fall off spontaneously within 10-15 days. It is important not to tear off the shells by hand.
- First Wash: The first hair wash can usually be done after 3-5 days, as recommended by your doctor. During this wash, the hair should be cleaned with gentle movements.
- Controls: Check-ups with your doctor during this period are important to confirm that your recovery process is progressing healthily.
- Temporary Hair Loss: At the end of the first month, the transplanted hair follicles may enter a temporary shedding phase called shock shedding. This is a natural process for new hair to grow stronger.
- Growth of New Hair: Towards the end of the first month, you may notice that new hair follicles start to grow. This hair may be thin and weak at first, but will grow thicker and stronger over time.
- Hair Growth Process: By the third month, most of the transplanted hair follicles will have started to grow. During this period, the volume and density of your hair will increase.
- Effect of Stem Cells: The healing and regenerative effect of stem cells will contribute to stronger and healthier hair follicles.
- Significant Hair Growth: By the sixth month, most of your transplanted hair will have become noticeably longer and thicker. The volume and density of hair will increase significantly.
- Seeing the Results: The final results of hair transplantation begin to become apparent during this period. With the effect of stem cells, your hair will look healthier and stronger.
- Final Results: At the end of one year, the full results of stem cell-assisted hair transplantation appear. Your hair gets a natural, dense and permanent appearance.
- Hair Health: Transplanted hair follicles remain healthy and strong in the long term, thanks to the regenerative effect of stem cells.
